On behalf of the Welkinland® Packs let me pass our deepest condolences on the recent passing of home improvement legend National Hardware Show. To say NHS was larger than my life character would be an understatement. He will always be remembered as a great industrial player – verified by his many awards!🤧…Hey man, it’s a joke at all, 😜… But, it’s true, the NHS is dead in 2020 with the spreading virus. Please check the following emails that I received from the NHS committee on July 8th. So, let’s keep on grieving over his death. And, as a royal exhibitor, the following are the top 10 reasons that We can’t forget his greatness!

1. The NHS is one of the longest-running professional exhibitions in the world.

The first National Hardware Show took place in New York City in 1945. And it was created by Abe Rosenburg of General Tools, along with Charlie Snitow, General’s Chief Legal Counsel. In the early 1960s, Reed Exhibitions (previously Cahners Expositions Group) acquired Snitow’s trade show business. The show moved to Chicago’s new McCormick Lakeside exhibit hall in 1975. 2. The NHS is one of the fastest grown hardware trade show ever.

The show has grown rapidly since it moved from Chicago to Las Vegas in 2004. It has added a Garden World theme in 2005, a home improvement section in 2006 In addition, it added new sections for small appliances and housewares in 2007.

3. The National Hardware Show is one of the largest hardware trade shows in the world.

In 2019, it has an exhibition area of more than 80,000 square meters. And, it has 3,500 exhibitors, and more than 30,000 professional visitors now.

4. The National Hardware Show covers the most of home improvement categories. And the following 6 categories are for your reference:

• Hardware tools: abrasives, auto parts, energy-saving products, ceilings, door hardware, fasteners, rain gutters, downspouts, ventilation pipes, awnings, hand tools and accessories, household hardware, insulation materials, knives, locks, keys, and related accessories, masonry products, molds, number plates, etc.

6. The buyers of largest retailers visit this show every year. Those retailers are all top players in the home improvement industry. That includes Home depot, Lows, Monard, etc.

7. The most famous brand manufacturers have a booth showing their new staff in NHS. Their creative ideas spot the whole industry. They are Stanley, Milwaukee, Klein, etc.

8. Reed Exhibitions, the host of NHS, is one of most longest-running exhibition organizers.

The National hardware Show 2020 is dead, while the National Hardware Show 2021 should reborn on May 11-13th 2o21.- It shows on NHS website. Then, Liberate our mouth from the mask!
